The South Australian Wine Industry Association has been conducting wine courses since 1956.
The National Wine Education & Training Centre (NWETC) was established in 2001, to provide consumer wine education and appreciation classes at the newly opened National Wine Centre.
Since 2001, the NWETC have had more than 6000 people participate in their wine appreciation courses. They have a wide range of participants, including people wanting to enhance their general wine knowledge, international residents of South Australia wishing to understand more about Australian Wine and cellar door and hospitality industry workers.
