Jim Barry Wines was named the 2020 James Halliday Winery of the Year from a field of over 2,500 wineries. The late Jim Barry was a pioneer of the Australian wine industry. With his wife, Nancy, Jim built a successful wine business which has produced trophy-winning wines since its establishment in 1959. Jim Barry Wines produce all of their own fruit from 17 locations in the Clare Valley totalling more than 320 hectares, along with a 14 hectare property at Coonawarra. This access to high-quality, estate-grown fruit has been instrumental in the development of a number of prominent brands, including The Armagh Shiraz, and The Florita Riesling. Jim Barry also produce Australia's only Assyrtiko, a Greek variety that is native to the island of Santorini. We are delighted to announce the re-opening of cellar door on the 31st August 2020. We have been working behind the scenes to refine our cellar door offering to ensure our guests enjoy the ultimate Jim Barry experience. Visit our Cellar Door. We invite you to view our selection of tastings experiences at https://www.jimbarry.com/feature/visit-us and book online. In accordance with our COVID-19 safe plan, all guests must have an appointment. From the 31st of August, our cellar door will be open for sales everyday from 10am-4pm, however we are not able to offer tastings to those not booked in.
