Get on your bikes and rejoice, the Mountain Bike Trails in the Australian Botanic Garden are back!
The trails have been closed since May 2017 due to the discovery of the invasive African Olive weed growing along the course. Since then The Wollondilly Macarthur Mountain Bike Club and their volunteer trail fairies have been working tirelessly to clear out the weed and make the trails rideable again. With assistance from the Australian Botanic Garden and funding from NSW Government and IMB Bank, the trails are truly some of the best in the region.
Kids Loop (one kilometre) and Family Loop (3.9 kilometre ) - The Kids and Family trails are MTBA green-rated (easy). The trails are generally smooth with some obstacles and challenges. Suitable for beginner riders and families.
