Garden gates are open 7.30am - Sunset. Discover the beauty of Australia’s arid heart at the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden, Port Augusta. Featuring thousands of plants from Australia’s low rainfall regions, the garden is also home to more than 150 bird species. Explore the garden, with stunning views of the Spencer Gulf and Flinders Ranges, on its many walking tracks and learn how plants survive the harsh inland climate on a guided tour. At the centre of the garden, the Visitor Centre’s café offers delicious homemade desserts and meals and wonderful gifts are available from its unique gift shop and nursery. Open every day, entry is free. The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden features thousands of plants from Australia’s low rainfall regions and is home to over 150 bird species. Enjoy peaceful walking tracks, stunning views of the Flinders Ranges and an informative guided tour. The Visitor Centre offers a unique Café, Gift & Plant Shop.
