Artisans of Australia is located in Drysdale, nestled in the heart of the wine and olive region of the Bellarine in Victoria, and close to the many amenities that this area has to offer. This vibrant and unique space is a rare opportunity to enrich your life with a visit to see local artisans working in their studios, to visit a regional gallery, enjoy a coffee and snack made with nationally sourced ingredients, purchase works direct from the artists supported, and to learn a new skill, or enhance an existing one, through a wide variety of classes. There is an emphasis on Australian artisans, with works from across Australia being displayed, and demonstrations and classes hosted by practicing Australian artists. The premises has recently undergone an intensive refurbishment, ensuring that the creative spaces are accessible to everyone, including the function rooms which are available to hire for various creative projects and classes. Exhibitions have a focus on Australian artisans, and change monthly. The on-site store is full of works by local and national artists, selling direct to the public; with a wide variety of pieces from paintings, to sculptures, to jewellery and homewares. Artisans of Australia is easily accessible by bus from nearby Geelong, where trains link with Melbourne. There is also parking available on-site with overflow parking available locally.
