DVAA (Darwin Visual Arts Association) is a Darwin institution. Established in 1983, DVAA began life through the collective efforts of artists who wanted a place to make and exhibit their work.
DVAA maintains an active program showing local, national and international artists. DVAA's three art galleries run a year-long exhibition programme. Each art exhibition is opened with a lively opening night, attended by the local arts community and live local music. DVAA also offers a range of workshops for aspiring and established artists
