The Cathedral of Holy Cross in Geraldton is renowned for having one of the largest areas of stained glass windows in Australia. Thanks to the elevated lot it stands on, the Anglican cathedral is an impressive sight from the road. Stroll around the grounds to examine the magnificent works of art on the windows. The 1960s cathedral is known as the "Coventry of Australia" due to its unusual design and resemblance to Coventry Cathedral in England. Continue up Cathedral Avenue to see The Hermitage, a charming 1800s house designed by the prominent architect and priest Monsignor John Hawes.
