Campo de Flori is Field of Flowers in Italian and this is what is grown on this 52 acre Glen Huon Farm managed by David Peck and Lisa Britzman. This boutique farm and ceramic artistry has bundled the sensory pleasures of the rare spice saffron, fragrant lavender, and olives with bespoke ceramics. Add in a strong ethos of sustainability on this four-season farm and you have a magnet for day trippers looking to experience many of Tasmania's brand jewels in one spot. The farm has spectacular vistas towards the snow-capped Hartz mountains and overlooks the Glen Huon Valley and Huon River. The farm features a farmgate shop/gallery where visitors can taste their Extra Virgin Olive Oil and lavender tea and purchase their "Delicious" Award-winning saffron products, culinary lavender, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bespoke lavender and ceramics made on the farm. Lisa's working ceramic studio is next to the farmgate where you can see bespoke ceramic pieces being made. August through March special events and workshops are on offer at the farm, so watch their Facebook page for upcoming events. We have reopened to visitors under a Covid safe plan. Open weekends 10am - 3pm and weekdays by appointment.
