The Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery is devoted to showcasing the talents of artists and artist groups with a specific connection to the community. The exhibitions feature opportunities for local creative people to participate in exhibitions supported by Maroondah City Council.
Located in the leafy outer eastern region of Melbourne at Maroondah Federation Estate, the Gallery offers a dynamic range of exhibitions including newly commissioned work and thematic exhibitions. A diverse range of public programs provide opportunities for visitors of all ages to further engage with the arts.
Owned and operated by Maroondah City Council, the Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery is also home to the R & M McGivern Art Prize. Managed by Maroondah City Council and The Trust Company, this $25,000 acquisitive prize aims to encourage painting in all mediums. Held on a triennial basis, the Prize is open to artists nationally.
