NOTE: In response to COVID-19, the Koala Centre is closed until further notice. Daisy Hill Conservation Park and surrounds are home to one of Australia's most significant regional koala populations. Walk, mountain bike and horse ride through tall eucalypt forests and sun-dappled melaleuca wetlands. Keep an eye on the canopy as you're likely to spot a dozing koala in the fork of a tree. The Daisy Hill picnic area and the Daisy Hill trail hub provide picnic and barbecue facilities with two undercover seating areas. Signposted walking tracks begin at various points along the edge of the picnic area. The Daisy Hill trail hub provides opportunities for mountain-bike riding and horseriding on the park’s shared trail network. Enjoy a barbecue lunch at one of the shady picnic areas before heading to the nearby Daisy Hill Koala Centre. The centre is a free education facility where you can meet koalas and learn about conservation through the interactive displays and keeper talks held twice daily. Kids love the interactive displays. Experience a koala’s eye view from the tree top tower and look for koalas in the surrounding forests. The centre is open seven days a week from 9am to 4pm.
