Yorke Peninsula's Saltwater Classic

Yorke Peninsula’s Saltwater Classic is a biennial event for admirers of wooden and classic boats that have been faithfully restored to keep afloat some of the great traditions of boat building. The event attracts people from across SA and interstate to display their boats in Stansbury and Port Vincent. The 10th edition of Yorke Peninsula's Saltwater Classic was to be held on the weekend of 2 and 3 May 2020. However, due to ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, the next edition of Yorke Peninsula's Saltwater Classic has been deferred until 2 and 3 April 2022. Look to our website for updates on the new dates and our spectacular water-based and foreshore attractions including markets, vintage cars and motorbikes, local arts, craft and produce showcasing all the great things about Yorke Peninsula. With support from the South Australian Tourism Commission and Yorke Peninsula Tourism, Yorke Peninsula's Saltwater Classic has grown in stature to become an important tourism event in the region.
